Validation Process – Credibility & Integrity Framework

The structured validation process that underpins the Global Experience Excellence Awards. Recognition is based on measured performance through the Experience Excellence Index (EEI), supported by a defined integrity review model.

Why Validation Matters

The Global Experience Excellence Awards are founded on the principle that recognition must be earned through measurable organisational maturity. Validation ensures that performance levels reflect structured evidence rather than narrative claims.

This approach protects the credibility of recognised organisations and the integrity of the Awards platform.

Validation Trigger Criteria

Validation will apply to organisations achieving upper-tier performance levels or where additional confirmation of maturity evidence is required.

  • Outstanding or Exemplary performance bands
  • Cross-sector or national distinction qualification
  • Significant score movement year-on-year
  • Randomised integrity review sampling

Validation Methodology

Validation is conducted by one the ICXI qualified Assessors, through a structured review of evidence submitted during the EEI assessment process. The methodology focuses on:

  • Consistency between claimed maturity level and documented evidence
  • Alignment between governance structures and behavioural practice
  • Demonstration of systemic integration rather than isolated initiatives
  • Performance resilience under operational pressure
  • Cross-strand balance and maturity density

Evidence Review Framework

Evidence may include governance documentation, operational records, performance dashboards, policy frameworks, training records, communication artefacts and improvement programme documentation.

Validation does not require extensive narrative submissions. It focuses on clarity, consistency and structural integrity.

Independence & Objectivity

The validation process operates independently from marketing or commercial influence. The objective is to confirm maturity integrity, not to reinterpret scoring.

Recognition is only confirmed where evidence supports the awarded performance level.

Outcome of Validation

  • Confirmation of awarded performance level

  • Request for supplementary clarification where required

  • Adjustment of performance level where evidence does not support scoring

  • Eligibility confirmation for national or global recognition

Integrity Safeguards

  • Evidence-based scoring model
  • Behaviourally anchored maturity definitions
  • Worst-day scoring discipline (where applicable)
  • Cross-strand aggregation controls
  • Transparent performance band definitions

Positioning Statement

The Global Experience Excellence Awards operate on the principle that recognition must be credible, defensible and internationally comparable. The validation framework ensures that excellence is confirmed through measured performance rather than opinion or presentation.

Recognition Based on Measured Performance.
